When these assessments are conducted properly with qualified inspectors, the result can dramatically improve the quality of construction. This seminar will discuss the code requirements and testing procedures to allow the Architect and Engineer to define the best inspection program. Practical considerations and historical background will also be discussed. |

This presentation will discuss how to design and build structures using wood products in an environmentally responsible fashion. Topics will include green characteristics of wood, sustainable forestry & certification programs, efficient use of wood fiber, non-toxic wood treatment, and waste management. |
