Kevin H. Chamberlain, P.E. is C.E.O. of DeStefano & Chamberlain, where his responsibilities include all aspects of engineering design, inspections and investigations, client relations, project procurement, and supervision of other engineers in the firm.
Kevin has extensive experience in Special Inspections, project management, and architectural building systems. Kevin also is responsible for design and inspection of many of the firm's residential building projects, including numerous complex single-family structures.
Kevin is the President of the Connecticut Structural Engineers Coalition. He is also an active alumnus with the Architectural Engineering Department at Penn State, and has served on a Practitioner Jury Panel to judge student Senior Thesis projects. In addition Kevin serves on the Advisory Board to the University of Connecticut’s Civil Engineering Department.
Kevin is an AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Kevin has volunteered for boards and commissions in Trumbull, Connecticut and currently serves on the Building Code Board of Appeals.
Kevin received a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from Pennsylvania State University where he graduated at the top of his engineering class. Kevin is a licensed Professional Engineer in 6 states, and a board certified structural engineer.
